DAY1️⃣: BIG CIRCUIT AND SUNSET

Tour start at 08:00 am by pick up from your accommodation to visit

  • Preah Khan (the Buddhist King’s Father temple, restored by WMF project)

  • Neak Poan ( located inside artificial lake Jayatataka)

  • Ta Som is a small, 12th-century temple in Cambodia’s Angkor Archaeological Park. Dedicated to Avalokiteshvara, it showcases intricate stone carvings and face towers in the Bayon style. Restored from the jungle, Ta Som is a serene glimpse into the ancient Khmer Empire.

  • lunch break (in restaurant inside Angkor Archeological Parks)

  • East Mebon (located in the man made lake called East Baray 7km x 1.8km)

  • Pre Rup (crematorium) it is called crematorium because during the 16th century the local people who lived here cremated the dead body in this temple but actually this dried  brick temple was built in the mid 10 century and dedicated to Shiva, one of the trinity in Hindu.

  • Banteay Kdei (In 2001 the Japanese Archeologists rediscovered 274 Buddhas in the pit)

  • Prasat Kravan temple
  • Sunset at Phnom Bakheng and end of day tour by taking you back hotel.

DAY2️⃣: SUNRISE AND SMALL CIRCUIT

  • Start at 05:00 am to see Sunrise at Angkor Wat
  • Angkor Wat (the largest religious monument in the world, only 35 years to be built)

  • South Gate of Angkor Thom

  • Angkor Thom ( the big walled city to be built by Buddhist King Jayavarman VII)

  • Bayon the state temple and temple mountain of Buddhist King, exactly at the middle of Angkor Thom)

  • Baphuon (the tallest pyramidal temple closed 27 years for restoration by French)

  • The enclosure wall of Royal Palace and the temple inside it called Phimeanakas)

  • Elephant and Leper King Terraces

  • Chau Say Tevoda & Thommanon (if time permits)

  • Ta Nei (located off road, deeply in jungle, quiet and peaceful)

DAY3️⃣: KOH KER AND BENG MEALEA

  • Koh Ker (130 km from Siem Reap, the transitional city from Angkor established under the usurper king Jayavarman IV 928 to 944 AD)

  • Prasat Thom “7-tiered temple”

  • Prasat Linga

  • Prasat Kmao

  • Prasat Damrei

  • Prasat Pram

  • Lunch Break (in restaurant nearly)

  • Beng Mealea (70 km from Siem Reap, the Angkor Wat’ s style and architecture, the temple just reopened in 2002, the Two Brothers Movie was filmed here and Guidebook mentioned visiting this temple is an Indiana Jones experience)​

DAY4️⃣: BANTEAY SAMRE, BANTEAY SREI and PHNOM KULEN

  • Banteay Samre ( the complete temple was restored by French, Angkor Wat Style)

  • Banteay Srei ( the Lady Temple, the unique pinkish sandstone and the most beautifully detailed motives of Khmer Art and the first French-restored temple using the method of Anastylosis after the Frenchman named Henry Marshal studied this technique from the Dutch who undertook to reconstruct Borobudur in Java)

  • Phnom Kulen (the quarry of sandstone and the birthplace of Angkorian Period, it was originally called Mahendraparvata meaning the mountain of great Indra)

  • Big Reclining Buddha

  • The carving of thousand Lingas

  • 35 m high Waterfall in Tomb Raider Movie (if you’d like swimming please take bath towel with you)

  • Lunch break (in restaurant inside Angkor Archeological Parks)

  • Kampong Phluk  floating village on Tonle Sap lake
